Will the doctor have access to your medical records?Thanks to the #EHDS (European Health Data Space), which centralizes the healthcare data of European citizens, this is indeed a real possibility.You can benefit from immediate and simple access to your digital health data anywhere and anytime within the EU, but you must first give consent. For instance, when a patient requires any type of medical attention abroad, healthcare professionals will be able, when necessary, to access key information from the patient's home member state. 🤝 IQVIA is actively involved in this effort, collaborating with hospitals to structure, standardize and secure this vast amount of data. 📉 Recent data, delivered by IQVIA, shows a 10% decrease in the use of #benzodiazepines, such as Xanax and Valium, among Belgians. 💊This translates to 200,000 fewer users (in 2023). The total usage of these sleep and anxiety medications remains high, with 2 million individuals consuming them daily. It's encouraging to see a decline in benzodiazepine usage across all age groups.
